Flow Controls metering systems provide a range of accessories that work perfectly with FC Flow meters and registers, seamlessly fitting into the equipment for each specific application.
VFC Preset Valves are designed to work with a mechanical preset, automatically shutting off the flow once a specified amount of product has been delivered. These valves can be set for either single-stage or two-stage shutdowns.
Single-stage shutdowns are ideal for slower flow rates or thicker products where hydraulic shock is less of a concern. The two-stage shutdown option slows the flow rate before completely stopping, helping to prevent hydraulic shock.
Back Check Valves: Prevents counter advancement and backtracking between deliveries by keeping the delivery hose consistently filled with fuel. It also features a built-in pressure relief system.
Spring Loaded Check Valves: Maintains back pressure to enhance the efficiency of air/vapor eliminators and prevents reverse flow.
The Flow Controls FC-ESV Solenoid Valve, 2-stage preset valves are specifically designed to manage the flow of refined petroleum products such as diesel, gasoline, fuel oils, kerosene, ethylene glycol, and lube oils. These valves can be integrated into a complete Flow Controls positive displacement flow meter system with electronic registration.
Thanks to their less restrictive design, the FC-ESV series valves offer reduced pressure drop and higher potential flow rates, particularly when handling higher-viscosity products.
Mechanical air and vapor eliminators enhance meter accuracy by ensuring that only liquid passes through the meter for measurement.
During installation, Flow Controls mechanical air and vapor eliminators are connected to a storage tank, creating a pathway for the expelled air and vapor. Once the air or vapor exits the metering system, the eliminators seal the pathway to prevent liquid from entering the storage tank.
A meter strainer installed on the inlet side is essential, even if a coarse strainer is already present upstream of the pump. Strainers are not intended to serve as a system filter but to provide limited protection for the meter element itself.
Strainer baskets are available in 20, 40, 80, 100, and 150 mesh sizes. From Size DN40, DN50, DN80, DN100
