AdBlue/Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a solution made of high-purity urea and deionized water, known for its high corrosiveness, which can greatly reduce a flow meter’s accuracy and lifespan if not properly handled. Leveraging its expertise in handling liquids, Flow Controls developed piston and rotary flow meters using materials specifically designed to endure the challenges posed by AdBlue/DEF. Today, Flow Controls FCM meters are widely used across the AdBlue/DEF industry, including in blending facilities, delivery vehicles, dispensers, intermediate bulk containers (IBC), and delivery skids.
